Hera Engineering has been proud to be part of the delivery for the City of Greater Geelong Office building project, where innovation takes the form of mass timber construction – a sustainable step toward the future.

Our collaboration with BESIX Watpac is rooted in a commitment to excellence. As we perform a full peer review of the structural engineering design we have been working hand in hand with structural engineer and the timber supplier, our collective knowledge has provided improvements that elevate the project.

Mass timber isn’t just about construction; it’s about sustainability. By incorporating this eco-friendly material, we’re contributing to the sequestration of around 1,100 tonnes of CO₂. This is more than a building, it’s a government-driven initiative to reshape our cities in a greener, more efficient light. Hera has a passion for embracing more sustainable ways of building and innovating the construction landscape.
