Exchange is a $300M project and it is the first precinct to be delivered at Curtin University’s Perth Campus in response to the Greater Curtin Master Plan. This ambitious project is designed by architect Nettleton Tribe and it is stage one of this transformational build that will cultivate a vibrant social, professional and commercial urban community.
The project is composed by three developments – two student accommodation with 924 beds and one mixed use building. The magnitude of the project has seen the installation of six cranes and 1000 precast panels.
Hera Engineering involvement with Probuild started during the tender period. Our team worked on an alternative structural system which has resulted in more than $10M cost saving and reduced the construction program by 6 months.
Our clever alternative has pushed Probuild to secure the project with Curtin University and Hera Engineering was subsequentially appointed as the new structural engineer.
Hera Engineering has provided value engineering, structural design, post tension and temporary works design.
