203 North Terrace is taking shape in the Adelaide sky

Our student accommodation project in Adelaide is taking shape along North Terrace, with a completion date scheduled for the end of 2021.

Located in the Adelaide CBD, the structure represents Hera Engineering’s first high-rise project in South Australia and once completed this will be the 4th tallest structure is the state.

This 35-storey tower is located within a heritage site which has made construction and planning extremely difficult. However, our very experience team was able to overcome all types of difficulties working closely with Synergy and Accord.

Hera Engineering was originally appointed by the client for a general layout review of the existing design which were over budget. We came up with a complete re-design of the building which resulted in the core relocation. The revised design was focused on constructability within a heritage site. One of the main challenges were the construction of the pile raft.

This is another testimonial of our experience and ability to design very efficient tall buildings with budget and constructability as a priority. When a client approach us for a tall building design we’ll provide a cost effective solution thanks to our experience and technical excellence.

Hera Engineering has been appointed to provide structural engineering services due to our reputation with innovative and economical high-rise design.

Looking forward to seeing the tower completed rising in the Adelaide sky!
