We are providing structural engineering services for Isle Waterfront, a 25-storey, 95-meter-tall residential development in Brisbane. The structure features in-situ jumped cores, concrete columns, and post-tensioned slabs, reflecting a design focused on both efficiency and performance.

Our involvement in the project includes the design of the in-situ jumped cores, which streamline vertical construction and enhance the building’s lateral stability. These cores form the backbone of the structure, integrating seamlessly with the post-tensioned slabs that span the building’s floor plates. The use of post-tensioned slabs not only reduces material usage but also optimizes floor-to-ceiling heights, contributing to an efficient use of space.

The concrete columns have been strategically designed to balance load distribution while minimizing intrusion into the usable interior areas. These structural elements are fully integrated with the building’s architectural and service requirements, ensuring compatibility across all systems.

Given the high-rise nature of the project, we have employed advanced modeling and analysis techniques to address wind loading and other environmental factors, ensuring the structure’s resilience and safety. By focusing on constructability and long-term durability, we are contributing to a robust and efficient design for Isle Waterfront, which is currently under construction.
