
Raveena Ranepura Dewage
Raveena is a Senior Civil Engineer with 6.5 years of experience in the design and delivery of multidisciplinary civil engineering projects. Her role encompasses technical direction, design management, and coordination across all phases of project development. With a strong emphasis on project leadership, client engagement, and quality assurance, Raveena ensures that outcomes are both practical and aligned with broader business objectives. She holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours, First Class) from Deakin University and is certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2 Practitioner, and PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner.
Raveena has successfully delivered a broad spectrum of infrastructure projects across healthcare, residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. In earlier roles, she developed expertise in residential and industrial subdivisions, building her knowledge in land development and service coordination. At Hera, she has independently managed projects from planning through to construction documentation, demonstrating accountability, technical excellence, and leadership. Raveena is known for her clear communication and ability to foster long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders. Notable projects include the Peel Health Campus Forward Works, Perth Airport Central Hotel Development, Bethanie Dalyellup and Mount Lawley projects, Claremont Medical Centre, and 581 Murray Street Mixed-Use Development. Her skills span civil design, bulk earthworks, road and drainage systems, 12D modelling, AutoCAD drafting, and end-to-end project management.
Outside of work, Raveena explores cultures through travel and cuisine, and enjoys reading history, listening to true crime podcasts, and practising mindfulness. She actively mentors international students in STEM at Deakin University, sharing insights from her journey to support others navigating the Australian engineering landscape. Looking ahead, Raveena is working towards becoming a Chartered Professional Engineer in 2025. Through her work at Hera, she aspires to lead inclusively and build a platform that empowers professionals—particularly from South Asian backgrounds—through authentic leadership, collaboration, and continuous growth.
