Aurora Apartments is a distinguished collection of 118 luxurious riverside residences, catering to individuals with a penchant for architecture and opulent living.

Situated in the sophisticated ambiance of Applecross and designed by S.S. Chang Architects, this project stands as a captivating addition to the revitalised Canning Bridge precinct. Its strategic location offers convenient access to public transport, parklands, scenic walking trails, and an array of superb restaurants and cafes that Perth has to offer. Spanning 25 levels, Aurora’s 118 unique apartments exude exclusivity, with six apartments per level and only four on floors 21-24, ensuring a sense of privacy and refinement.

For the development of the project, Hera was chosen by Finbar Group, recognised for our efficient high-rise expertise. Collaborating closely with Hanssen Construction, we have embarked on devising a sophisticated structural system that incorporates a combination of in-situ concrete and the innovative bubble desk precast slab system. This meticulous planning is aimed at achieving optimum construction speed, enabling swift progress during the building process. Our team have encountered significant challenges, predominantly dictated by the unique soil condition attributed to the high-water table. To mitigate potential issues, Hera planned for a piled raft foundation approach, in so designing to minimise settlement and ensure the utmost stability and durability.
