The new facility for Curtin’s School of Design and the Built Environment (DBE) is poised to become a prominent and iconic structure on Curtin University’s Perth campus, positioned at the core of the University’s dedicated innovation precinct.
This innovative building is set to make a significant contribution to the vibrant University community by facilitating top-notch student engagement, enriching learning and teaching experiences, advancing cutting edge research, fostering collaboration, and forging strong partnerships with industries.
Comprising five stories, the building’s design is intended to function as both a dynamic learning environment and a practical teaching aid. Beyond its role in supporting DBE’s learning and teaching initiatives, it will also house the school’s dedicated professional and academic staff, alongside complementary commercial tenants.
The new facility’s versatile design, emphasis on experiential learning, and strategic integration of various spaces are poised to elevate the School of Design and the Built Environment’s standing, enhance the educational journey for students, foster innovation and research, and bolster valuable partnerships with the broader community and industries.
Hera Engineering provided various essential services, ensuring the success of the project. The following services were conducted by Hera Engineering, contributing significantly:
