La Salle College Boarding House

Hera Engineering is providing structural engineering services for a new $8 million boarding house at La Salle College in Middle Swan, located north-east of Perth.

The facility is designed to accommodate up to 40 First Nations students from Year 7 to Year 12, featuring separate living areas for male and female students, a medical room, recreation spaces, a communal dining area, and lift access. The boarding house has been tailored to meet the operational needs of the college while enhancing accessibility for students from remote areas.

Collaborating with Munns Sly Moore architects, Hera Engineering has developed a structural design that prioritises functionality, safety, and long-term performance.
