Project Commencement

In our role as structural and civil engineers, we are part of an ambitious project destined to transform Perth’s recreational landscape: the Perth Surf Park. This innovative venture, located in Jandakot adjacent to the Kwinana Freeway and Cockburn Central train station, is anticipated to open its doors in 2026. The project, spearheaded by adventuur in collaboration with MJA Studio, is set to become a pivotal sporting, tourism, and entertainment hub in Western Australia.

Our responsibilities encompass the structural engineering of a surf park that promises not only to offer high-quality surfing experiences but also to integrate a broad array of amenities. These include a high-performance surf academy, skate features, a pump track, a health and wellness centre, beach club, dining establishments, accommodation, casual workspaces, and retail outlets. Highlighting our commitment to innovation and community engagement, the park will feature a 56-piston Wavegarden Cove, marking it as the largest of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere.

The location for this project was carefully chosen for its strategic proximity to major transport links, ensuring easy access for both locals and visitors. Our involvement underscores a broader vision to provide Perth with an avant-garde mixed-use precinct that enriches the local community and positions Western Australia as a premier destination for surf enthusiasts and tourists alike.

Construction has now commenced with the anticipation of opening to residents in 2026. This project represents a significant step forward in our ongoing effort to contribute to sustainable, engaging, and community-focused developments.
