Queen’s Wharf Brisbane, a landmark development under construction in Queensland, Australia, is being brought to life through the collaborative efforts of Far East Consortium, Cottee Parker Architects, and Multiplex. This mixed-use project is poised to redefine Brisbane’s skyline and urban landscape, incorporating four towers on a common podium, multi-level basements, and a sky deck that connects the towers.
Hera Engineering’s contributions to this project encompasses a broad range of services, including structural engineering, post-tensioned design, temporary works, and façade design. One of the project’s standout features is the secondary steel design for the podium façade, along with extensive temporary works including cranes, and the post-tensioned design for Tower 4. Additionally, Hera Engineering conducted a peer review for the Skydeck and managed numerous ad hoc structural tasks as required by the site team, showcasing their versatility and expertise in addressing complex engineering challenges.
The Queen’s Wharf Brisbane development is targeting a 6 Star Green Star – Multi Unit Design & Multi Unit As-Built rating, reflecting its commitment to environmental sustainability and design excellence. Once complete, the precinct will offer a vibrant blend of residential, hotel, casino, retail, dining, and public spaces, all designed to enhance Brisbane’s appeal as a premier tourism, leisure, and entertainment destination.
