About Giorgio Marinelli
Giorgio Marinelli is the National Technical Manager with 15 years of experience in the engineering field. In his role, he oversees major technical decisions for projects, ensures Hera’s QAQC standards, standardises and improves technical methods, and assists in business development. Giorgio holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Giorgio has held significant roles throughout his career, including design lead and architectural coordination on large-scale projects. Notable projects he has worked on include the 300 George Office Tower in Brisbane (42 storeys), The One Brisbane (82 storeys), and the DGC Tower on the Gold Coast (64 storeys). His core skills and areas of expertise encompass high-rise design, wind and seismic structural design, advanced structural modelling and design, and sustainable design practices.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Giorgio has a passion for history, art, music, technology, and sports. His diverse interests contribute to a well-rounded perspective that enhances his professional work, particularly in developing innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.
