Hera Engineering was initially engaged to complete Value Engineering for a 41 storey office tower in Brisbane. By utilising our extensive experience in value engineering, our expertise in innovative and efficient high rise design based on current international best practise and advanced modelling methods, and our close relationship with contractors and suppliers, we were able to propose significant improvements to the structural layout and construction methodology. This resulted in cost and schedule savings for the client several orders of magnitude larger than our fee. As a sign of the degree of customer satisfaction achieved, we were subsequently engaged to carry out the revised layout and construction methodology through the detailed design and construction phase, which is currently underway.
