The Hillarys Mixed Use Development has received Development Approval, marking an important milestone for our client, Locus Property.
Hera Engineering is proud to be providing structural and civil engineering services for the project, designed by Hames Sharley on a prominent site adjacent to Hillarys Boat Harbour.
The $220 million development will deliver a mixed-use precinct with residential, retail and public spaces, including two residential buildings of eight and eleven storeys, 87 residences and a collection of penthouses.
The architectural form is complex, and Hera has worked closely with the architect through multiple design revisions to optimise the structure and support project feasibility. This is one of Hera’s key strengths: assisting developers early, before Development Approval, with clever and practical engineering advice that helps reduce construction cost without compromising design intent.
This early input is one of the reasons more than 90% of Hera Engineering’s DA-stage projects progress to construction, in a WA market where many approved apartment projects struggle to reach delivery.
