GSA Student Accommodation Sets New Standards

Hera Engineering would like to congratulate Stirling Capital after site works officially started at 89 Stirling Street.
Director Matteo Tirapelle says Hera has worked with Stirling Capital since the early conceptual sketches of this 23-level student accommodation. The selected structural system is made of in-situ jump-form core, precast external walls and precast hollow core planks. “We expect the typical floor cycle to achieve construction in an impressive five days,” Matteo says.
From its inception, the project featured several complexities including details of how the prefabricated structure would fit together. Matteo says Hera is proud to have provided structural and construction engineering services that have proved key to successfully delivering a prefabricated project.
“This will be one of the tallest precast and hollow core projects in the world once completed,” Matteo adds. “It’s another great example of how we strive to find innovative solutions for all our clients’ individual requirements here at Hera Engineering.”
