The $20 million Marine Village Apartments proposal by Stirling Capital has received approval and the project is set to begin soon at North Coogee. Indeed, the Metro Outer Joint Development Assessment Panel met on Friday to consider the proposal, voting to approve the development.
The structure, designed by MJA Studio architects, is a five-storey, mixed-use development that features 61 apartments, a commercial tenancy, gym and rooftop terrace.
The development, which has been touted as a gateway to the Port Coogee Marina, will be built across a 2,300 square metre lot on Orsino Boulevard, which has remained vacant since being titled.
Hera engineering is the structural engineer for this project and has worked hand in hand with MJA Studio to achieve a very lean structural solution which is paramount in the current construction market.
