ABOUT GOCE STOJANOSKI

Goce Stojanoski is the ACT State Manager for Hera Engineering, bringing 22 years of engineering expertise to his leadership of the ACT team. A Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) graduate from UNSW with a focus on Structures and Management, Goce’s educational foundation is complemented by extensive practical experience. His role involves guiding a team of professionals in delivering high-quality structural solutions across various projects, drawing on his broad knowledge in structural engineering and management.

Over his career, Goce has held key roles in project management and engineering leadership, focusing on the successful completion of complex, large-scale projects across Australia and internationally. Notable projects include the Gungahlin Market Place Retail Expansion (Stage 3) in Canberra, Iskia Mixed Use Development in Canberra, the Youth 2 Independence project in Hobart, Hell Fire Pass Interpretive Centre in Thailand, and the North-Western Regional Hospital Helipad and Carpark in Tasmania. Goce has also made significant contributions to other high-profile projects, including the Calvary Emergency Department upgrade in Canberra, numerous upgrade and refurbishment projects within Parliament House, Whitlam ECEC to Yr 6 School in Canberra and Chatswood Chase Shopping Centre refurbishment works in Sydney. His expertise spans advanced structural scheme development, stability assessments for multistorey and high-rise buildings, and sophisticated analysis techniques, including finite element analysis and dynamic loading assessments. He is skilled in both traditional and innovative structural design, with experience in concrete, steel, and composite structures and a strong focus on custom software development for specialised structural and data management tools.

Outside of his professional commitments, Goce is passionate about cooking, gardening, and photography. He is actively involved with the Gungahlin United Football Club, supporting junior girls’ community soccer. His vision includes leading the ACT Hera team to focus on structural optimisation and sustainability in new builds and reuse of existing structures, delivering designs that are both efficient and construction-ready. He is committed to integrating digital advancements and innovative tools to enhance structural design, fostering a forward-thinking approach that leverages technology for optimal outcomes.
