Slab gets poured at Cirque

The last concrete slab was poured at Cirque apartments this week, signalling the conclusion of the structural system phase of the project.
Hera provided full structural services for this project including structural design, post tension design, construction engineering, structural review of all self-climbing system and structural supervision.
Director Matteo Tirapelle says the Hera team is immensely proud of their work on this project, which has a number of unique features.
“These include corner balconies 230mm thick cantilevering 4.8m, entire structure to cantilever 4m past over the pool area, 200mm slabs spanning up to 10m, use of high strength concrete to increase stiffness and absence of transfer beams,” Matteo says. “The structure was fully structurally resolved prior to DA, which saved Stirling Capital an enormous amount of money.”
The team at Hera Engineering looks forward to its continued involvement with Stage 2 of the project, which is currently under schematic design.
