V&A Broadbeach Apartments represents a new era for the Gold Coast, offering a sophisticated blend of luxury living and community-oriented spaces.
Construction continues to progress at V&A Broadbeach, with both towers now reaching ground level following the completion of six basement levels below the podium structure.
Developed by Iris Capital, designed by DBI and constructed by Iris Built, the project comprises two residential towers rising 41 and 67 storeys above a six-level podium. Hera Engineering’s role includes structural engineering design, as well as post-tensioning, top-down construction methodology and temporary works.
One of the defining aspects of the project has been the use of topdown construction for the basement excavation and structure. This approach enabled basement construction to proceed efficiently while maintaining stability for neighbouring properties and reducing construction impacts within a constrained urban environment.
